So, here’s the question I got from a new reader and I wanted to answer for everyone as it’s probably something that’s crossed the mind of many of you.
“Is It REALLY Worth The Cost of Hiring A Copywriter?”
This is something I’m asked quite often. And my short answer is… only if you want to make LOADS and LOADS of money!
If you don’t care about maximizing your profits and making as much money as you possibly can, then I guess it doesn’t matter if you hire ME or someone on the cheap job boards who can barely speak English OR to do it yourself.
Look, I’m not trying to be over-dramatic, but the truth is… what is more important than the success of your business? I mean, besides your health, family, God, and country… there isn’t much more important.
Let me ask you a serious question.
If you were to find out tomorrow that you had a brain tumor, would you shop around for the CHEAPEST brain surgeon? Or would you only want the BEST available to you?

Now, there is a caveat to this.
The TRUTH is if you don’t have a product or service that people WANT to buy or have a legitimate NEED for then it doesn’t matter how great a copywriter is you’ve hired.
Even the world’s GREATEST sales message won’t make someone buy something they have ZERO interest in.
In fact, if you make that mistake then will quickly waste every cent you’ve paid to your copywriter no matter how skilled he or she is.
Nope, it ONLY makes sense to hire a copywriter if you’ve done your research into your market and know what they WANT, will PAY FOR and that your product or service will fulfill.
Now, there’s a caveat to this.
And that’s IF you are not just hiring a copywriter, but someone who can also help you with the research of your target market…
… and the creation of the product or service that there is a real WANT or NEED for.
Someone like this could be worth MANY times what they charge you.
So, ultimately my answer is this:
If you already have a product or service you know there is a market for, then there is NO GREATER investment you can make in your business then to hire a professional copywriter to write a killer sales message.
One which will persuade your prospect to pull out their wallet and BUY!
But if you are not quite ready for a freelance copywriter to work their WORD MAGIC to sell your product or service, then take things a step further and find someone who can also help you put ALL of the pieces together, so you have the absolute BEST odds of success.
And guess what?
